Lindenmeier Farm is excited to announce its first Farm CSA Share this 2012 season. As a 1-acre vegetable farm that strives to grow produce for the Fort Collins community within city limits; it is important to keep the connections with our community members just as close.  Our priority is to serve our costumers with natural nutritious food, locally grown in a way that preserves and nourishes the land that sustains us. Through our CSA we hope to engage you in the process and progress of a productive season and a deeper connection to the food we eat. Now more than ever it is important for our local economy and local food security to be nurtured and supported. Learn how and where your produce comes from, know the secrets about each crop, know your farmer and be a part of the Lindenmeier Farm Family this season!

Farm CSA Share Options:

Large Weekly Share: $550 for 20 weeks ($27/week); providing a variety of vegetables and herbs for 3-4 people with enough produce to last one week.

Medium Weekly Share: $450 for 20 weeks ($22/week); providing a variety of vegetables and herbs for 2-3 people with enough produce to last one week.

Small Weekly Share: $350 for 20 weeks ($17/week); providing a variety of vegetables and herbs for 1-2 people with enough produce to last most of the week.

Farm CSA Share: CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and is the direct partnership between the members (eaters) and the farmers cultivating and working the agricultural land. The members support the farm by purchasing a farm share at the beginning of the growing season.  With that share the farmer has a pre-season financial investment that allows greater diversification for the land while growing high quality homegrown produce while utilizing more sustainable practices. The bounty of the produce is then given back to the members throughout the 20-week growing season.  Each week Lindenmeier Farm will supply a variety of different specialty crops and heirlooms that are not found in conventional stores.  A CSA is more than just a weekly share, it is a bond between the consumer and the farmer, one where risk is shared but the rewards are outstanding.

Pick Up Locations:

Wednesdays: 4-7pm; at Lindenmeier Farm (1409 Lindenmeier Rd.)

Saturdays: 8-12pm; at Larimer County Farmer's Market

CSA members will also receive weekly e-newsletters, including recipes featuring new produce of the week, staff and volunteer bios, progress on the farm, and ways to store, handle and prepare the produce found in your share. At the end of the season everyone is invited for a pick your own produce day where families are welcome to come out to the farm and harvest your own share!
